The Health Science Occupations program is a three-credit hour course open to seniors only. An embedded science credit will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.
Through classroom study, laboratory training, field trips and guest speakers, students will become familiar with available career choices in the health science industry. Students will rotate through more than 35 different areas in and outside of the hospital.
Students will learn personal development, work attitude and leadership skills as a part of the program and their membership in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).
