Washington High School Girls Golf Continues to Show Improvement
The Washington High School girls golf team wrapped up a busy week by competing in the 18-hole Troy Tournament at Woods Fort Golf Course on Thursday, September 24.

Washington High School Cheer Earns First Place in Class 4A Large Division at St. Louis Regionals
The Washington High School varsity cheerleading team earned first place in the Class 4A Large Division at the Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association (MCCA) St. Louis Regionals on September 19.
Practical Nursing Transfer to East Central College
East Central College (ECC) and the School District of Washington (SDOW) have entered into an agreement to transfer the Washington School of Practical Nursing to ECC. In full transparency, ECC is in the process of pursuing a change of sponsorship through the Missouri State Board of Nursing (MSBN). As a result, ECC will assume fiscal responsibility for the program and become the sole grantor of the certificate beginning August 1, 2026.
With this transition, ECC remains deeply committed to preserving the integrity of the program and adherence to all current and ongoing accreditation standards. The program will continue to serve our Washington service region and will remain housed at Four Rivers Career Center. Our shared priority throughout this process is to ensure a seamless transition and avoid any disruption to the program or its planned start dates.
