Dual Credit

Why earn dual credit?

Students can earn a certificate of achievement in some courses (automotive technology, building construction, and welding) if they complete all dual credit courses offered in their program at Four Rivers.  This means they will end up with a piece of paper from East Central College that shows they earned this certificate from the college.

In programs without a certificate option, students will earn college credits which often help them earn a degree faster after high school or which can be used to enhance their employability.

Fall 2025 registration due by September 9, 2025. Payment due by October 14th.

For those who have dual credit available in their classes (auto tech, construction, CAPS, collision, culinary, IT, machine tool, Teaching, welding), registration is now open; it closes SEPTEMBER 9. Click “more info” button below to go to ECC site for registration.

Contact East Central College finance office at 636-584-6739 if you have payment questions.

See Mrs. Juengling with questions (or email her at stephanie.juengling@sdowmo.org).

Dual Credit Articulation Agreements with East Central College

Four Rivers Career Center has dual credit articulation agreements in place with East Central College for many of its programs. Articulation agreements allow students to earn both high school and college credit upon completion of courses taken at Four Rivers Career Center.
