Automotive Collision Repair Program
The Automotive Collision Repair program is a two-year program in which students acquire entry-level skills in the auto body repair trade. The comprehensive course covers basic welding, sheet metal dent repair, surface preparation and refinishing fundamentals. Instruction is also provided in automotive design/construction, identification and care of hand and power tools.
Students will have an opportunity to work with the following equipment: frame machine, sanders, hydraulic power tools, grinders, panel cutters, MIG welders, paint booth, and many others.
The program is available to both secondary and post-secondary students. Post-secondary students may qualify for financial aid.
Students will learn personal development, work attitude and leadership skills as a part of the program and their membership in SkillsUSA, the national career and technical student organization.
