Admissions--Four Rivers Career Center High School Students

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

  • Students must apply with their Guidance Counselor at their home high school
  • Sending schools Guidance Office personnel conduct the selection process for their high school

ADMISSION PROCEDURES:

  • Students will be notified by their home high school about their acceptance to Four Rivers Career Center
 

Admissions--East Central College Post-Secondary Adults

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

  • Complete East Central College Application Process

Admissions--Washington School of Practical Nursing (WSPN)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

  • Applicants must have high school diploma or GED certificate
  • Submit completed application with $5 application fee
  • Submit completed TEAS test registration form with $50 testing fee
    • Register with ATI to obtain TEAS test login and password
  • Successfully pass TEAS V test administered at Four Rivers Career Center or HESI exam administered by East Central College for entrance into their RN program.
    • Must pass Basic Level of all (4) parts of TEAS V test (Math, Science, Reading and English)
  • Submit "Why I Want to be a LPN" essay
  • WSPN will complete reference checks on previous employment and personal references
  • Submit high school and college transcripts
  • Attend applicant interview scheduled by WSPN Administrator in May

ADMISSION PROCEDURES:

  • Applicants will be notified regarding class selection by June 1
  • Pay $100 Non-Refundable Deposit no later than New Student Orientation in early June
  • Attend New Student Orientation in early June
  • Complete FASFA, pay tuition and/or make all financial aid arrangements with the Financial Aid Office by July 15.
  • Obtain clean Background Check and Drug Screen by the first day of class in August
  • Obtain a current physical and all updated immunizations as outlined in student handbook by the first day of class in August
  • Obtain BLS/CPR certification by the first day of class in August

FAILURE TO COMPLETE ALL OF THE ABOVE ITEMS MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF YOUR SEAT IN THE CLASS

 Adult students - enroll through ECC (welding, auto tech and building trades)

License Practical Nursing - enroll through Washington School of Practical Nursing (WSPN) located at the FRCC campus.
